The Security Committee supervises the company hired to oversee security in the community. The guards submit
Incidence Reports to the Chair who works with the REC to handle violators, it responds to residents’ security
complaints, and proposes security regulations. The committee also supervises the maintenance of the security
vehicle.

To find out what a good job our Security is
doing, check the website above.
We received a letter from the Delray Police Department in October telling us that there
has been an actual reduction of crime in our area. Here is a portion of that letter:
"This trend coincides with the start of the Volunteer Patrols, if I am not
mistaken. I want to thank those who have given their time to make Lake Ida
safer!  We do the very best we can with the current state of the Criminal
Justice System.  However, with great ‘suspicious person’ calls from your
residents and now the high profile Volunteer patrols, the difference is
dramatic!

I am proud of the partnership you have fostered with the Delray Beach
Police Department, and I use you and LIPOA as a model in my discussions
with other HOA Boards.

Thanks for the support, involvement and strength that you add to our City.

Thanks to Herb Bonn, Fay Brown and their team of dedicated volunteers.
Fay and Lou Brown, on patrol in our neighborhood.
  1. If you put your garbage and trash out
before 5 pm, you could be ticketed.
  2. Keep your garbage cans hidden from
    view.
  3. Call in any guests you are expecting
    on 276-8188, the automated system.
  4. Keep dogs on a leash and remember
that not everyone is a dog lover.
  5. Don't park in NO PARKING areas for
    any reason.
Counter
As of Labor Day, we have a new security company  -- Frontline Protective Services. The owners of Frontline have over
25 years experience providing security and patrol officers. Be sure to say "Hi" whenever you see one of the excellently
groomed and uniformed officers patrolling our community.

Frontline understands that security is one of the most important and most expensive commodities of our community.
As such, they want our guests and residents to experience their efficiency and courtesy, assuring that only those that
are authorized are permitted to enter.

The patrol vehicles are marked very clearly as Frontline vehicles and you can see them patrolling the complex very
often throughout the day and night. Remember that they are here to help us and courtesy on both sides is expected. If
you have any questions, or see anything questionable in the neighborhood, call them.

Also, remember to call in your guests to the recording so the traffic at the gate can efficiently flow.
