"You have done a great job on the RB webpage.
However, when I went to the Library page the link
for the stock of DVDs is missing.
"Very informative website. Do you think it is
possible to put the Beacon online here?"
"Wouldn't the website be a great place to put the
Rainberry Rules & Regulations? It could save us
some money in printing costs. This would probably
be true for our other documents as well, including
the Beacon."
"Some of the pages for the Clubs never change."
Since I work and cannot attend morning workshop
meetings, it would be good if we could get the
minutes of the meetings online."
"Thanks for putting the calendar of events on the
website. It helps us plan our schedule before we
come down for the season."
Great Community
We have been looking for a Senior Community in
this area. Of all the communities we have viewed, I
must say your community seems to have much to
offer for everyone's pocket book. Your community is
like a Club Med with all the activities available. The
other positive factor is the fact you allow pets. Lastly
your web site is by far the best we have viewed on
line. Great job.

Q: "I have trouble reading RIC - it goes too fast. Could we put it on here so I can see one screen at a time?"
A: RIC is on the website and you can scroll through it one screen at a time.

"Like to see more pictures of residents on the
website."
"HOW CAN WE GET OUR OPINIONS KNOWN TO
THE RESIDENTS?
I believe that what we need is a “Bulletin Board”
attached to our web site. It should be accessible
only by password which can be issued to any
Rainberry resident. It would have many uses
including questions, opinions, information, surveys,
lost and found, etc."
A: Check out our "Raindrops," the e-mail
forum for residents. Please register your e-
mail address on the Resident's portion of the
website.
I strongly agree with the suggestion to put the
Beacon on this site. It could be a money saving
factor to the budget for paper, printing, and man
power hours in delivering etc. Many times when I
volunteer to deliver the newsletters around the
development, the houses or villas may be empty
and newspapers are left at their property anyway. It
would also help the snowbirds, who could visit the
website for their updated copy."
We want to thank you for all the work you have
done. Congratulations.
I have a couple of questions:
- I could not find a place to put in a work
order.
- When I clicked on the news from
Vasquez it had consumer tips. I used to
enjoy reading HOA/Condo legal info.
How is it this changed?
- What happened to the “residents only”
area?
Suggestion: Can we have an article on and a
photo of the new Manager?"
Q: I think we should have the ability to update
our guest list online.
A: If you go to the Residents Only section of
the website, you will be able to update all your
personal information.
Can't we get our documents online?
It would save us all some money on
printing costs.
Thank you for developing this website. It's very
interesting and easy to read. I really enjoyed the
fun page. It had some very cute information,
which I hope you will be updating regularly. The
calendar was very complete and much easier to
read than the one in the Beacon. I think you did
a really fabulous job on this website. I will
definitely be referring to this one for further
information in the future.
I agree that the Beacon should be put on the home delivery. Many
people have computers the printing costs and clutter left of papers
outside empty homes/villas. I like the website improvements.
I just went to the website and saw all the changes. I
loved the virtual tour. Management company
bidders can really see what they’re getting
into………. And real estate agents can see different
model homes.
The Rainberry Bay website is one of the best
Condo/HOA websites I have seen. A friend of mine
who recently purchased a home here, but has not
moved in yet, commented he is going to use the
website and virtual tour to show the community off.
He also said "It looks like a Club Med for seniors." I
agree with him. That is why we love living here.
"How about giving us a page to sell or trade our stuff? Is there a kind of
a "classifieds" section? I didn't see one. I think it would be a nice service
for the residents, but it might be a nightmare for those who have to run
it. Still, I would love to see it. There are things I would love to "sell" like
furniture and verticals and stuff like that, and I would like to know what
might be available for me to buy within RB. This would be the same as
the bulletin board in the clubhouse, but this would be much better.
I think we should seriously look into solar power for our community. I'm not an expert, but most homes
here have shallow roof lines that seem to be ideal for solar panels to power our homes, water heaters,
swimming pools, street lights, etc. Working with FPL, there may be grants to do this to offset costs. If we
do it right we may even be able to sell energy back to FPL to offset costs here for improvements, HOA
fees, etc.
Secondly, have we considered making the entire community wireless? It's not that hard or expensive.
With everything going wireless, this may be a great selling feature for our community. You could be
anywhere in your home, lanai, swimming pool, tennis court, etc., and have access to the Internet. If
needed, I would be willing to do some preliminary research on this matter.
BTW, I think the website is great too and would like having the newsletter posted here.
We'd like to share with you what some people have
already said about MyRainberryBay.com. E-mails like
these come in all the time. We'd love to hear from you.
It's easy -- just fill in the form here and click "Send
Feedback."
Did the Board know that we could have continued to send in our might
have actually passed it.
Some suggestions:
- On the first website screen, we need a resident login requiring a
Password, which will bring us to an Announcements page with
separate areas for the Board and Property Manager to provide
information.
- That's where we would read what Board wants us to do to
prepare for an impending hurricane; what to do afterward,
especially if phones and electric are down; what CERT will be
doing, etc.
- That's where we would read the results of an important vote.
Where, with permission of the family, the Board might notify of a
resident's passing and arrangements. Where the Property
Manager might inform that a pool, or the clubhouse is
temporarily closed; or provide (and update) a paving, painting
or tree trimming schedule.
If residents know the website will have timely and helpful information
more of them will access and depend on it."
"Could you help us. We're looking for a place to rent at Rainberry Bay
and don't know who to contact."
Just a quick note to thank you for your
permission to use your tour of Rainberry Bay. As
a Realtor I pride my research and it was that
research the brought me to you and your tour.
What a beautiful job. It tells the story of the
community better than I ever could and it tells it
with love. Thank you.
